Despi: It’s The Hippie Swimwear!

Despi to me is almost like the hippie line of swimwear – honestly, they seem to have all of the designs that hippies would wear! Now, I am not saying that, that is a bad thing but take a look at this particular swimsuit. This is something that someone who is really down to earth, hugs trees and all around loves the planet would be wearing.

I think that the colors are fantastic though and the striped design alone is something that looks absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful. I also love the fact that there is a that flower right in the middle, I think that pulls the entire suit together!

Now, Despi is actually a new designer this year and that is why there really is not a lot of swimwear to choose from, but this one totally caught my eye – and it’s a one piece!

Daisy of Love, Are You Waiting For It?

Okay, now that Rock of Love season three has ended, we all know that we are waiting for Daisy of Love to come on … well, at least I am. Personally, I follow all of those trashy reality TV shows and Rock of Love is one of them and I saw when Brett Michaels crushed poor little Daisy’s heart and I was so … so sad. I loved her and that is why I decided to do a blog about her!

Now, you are probably wondering what this has to do with swimwear, well ladies and gentlemen, you know that Daisy is by far one of the sexiest girls in the world and it looks … from the internet at least that she became a model. This is why I can do a blog about her because she is modeling swimwear. Like in this picture right here, she is modeling the lovely zebra-print bikini that looks fantastic!

So if you are in suspense like I am waiting for yet another trashy-reality TV show to come, you should just look at Daisy and feel better … she is so sweet after all right?

Our lingerie-loving friends over at The Lingerie Post have just posted a huge set of photos from the Le Doux 2008 swimwear collection — and obviously seeing as that’s right up our alley, we’re here to not only point you in the right direction, but also sho you the pics on beachwear.cc!

The collection builds on their 2007 concept — sexy, colorful and diverse styles based on a Brazilian feeling — made for the American woman (which means they used a little more fabric, haha).

Pictures look yummy — I’m sure it’ll be another hit collection, popular with the LA celebs too!

L*Space Swimwear

This is a great swimwear line! They offer bikinis, one-pieces, and the ever popular tri-kinis at L*Space, and all the suits are gorgeous. I love the first picture, itâ€™s the Americana bikini. Itâ€™s a great suit with a strappy look. Actually, a few of the suits have the side strappy look that I think is great. Very sexy! I also love the golden rings on the bottoms, itâ€™s a great look, and the rings on these suits are overlarge, which makes them look even hotter. L*Space is a great line, I canâ€™t believe that I havenâ€™t seen it sooner.

Hupyee Swimwear

This is a fabulous line. Hupyee Swimwear has one-pieces and bikinis in every imaginable style and color. There are floral prints and solids, and most of the solids are tri-colored. They really are great. They also have a large line of beachwear like cover-ups, shorts, and everything else that we ladies need on the beach to make us beautiful and sexy. They even have the most adorable beach totes. I love the colors of the suits, they are bright and bold. This is a wonderful line, and most of the suits are under $100.

Island Company Swimwear has Darling Suits

Really. Island Company Swimsuits are absolutely adorable. I mean, just look at the pictures. The polka dots, the floral prints, the little ties on the sides, everything is so cute. Normally, I donâ€™t use the word cute, but there really is no other word for these suits. They are simply cute. I really do like the styles and the cuts, and the polka dots are simply darling. I would expect more to see teenagers in them than older adults, but we grown up gals like our dots too, right? Anyway, I just wanted to show you what might be gracing the beaches and pools come summer, especially if you have a teenage daughter at home. Sheâ€™ll definitely love these.

SABZ Swimwear

SABZ is the leading swimsuit brand in Peru. Their suits are wonderfully colorful and beautifully cut. The Trikinis are gorgeous, and actually all the suits are beautiful. They add a lot of wonderful detailing and they are all very feminine. Combining polka dots with stripes is a wonderful idea. These suits are all very unique and interesting. The pictures below are from the 2007 collection, so you can get an idea of the design and detailing that go into each of the SABZ swimsuits.

Profile by Gottex Swimwear Line 2008

Now, I love Gottex Swimwear, but I only recently became aware of the Profile line by Gottex. These are pictures of the new line for Spring/Summer 2008. They are great looking suits. The colors are beautiful, and the styles are great. I absolutely love the tankini suits. They are wonderful for those of us who still want the comfort of a two piece, but donâ€™t really have the body (or the nerveJ ) to wear a bikini. The tankini shown below is called CrÃ¨me Brulet. All the suits in the new collection look like great waist hiders, which is a major plus in my book.

Jets 2008 Swimwear Collection

The new Jets line for 2008 is absolutely beautiful. I know, I say that about all the lines, but this one really is. The colors are stunning, and I love the ruffles on the Finesse (the picture is below). The suits look so perfectly designed to fit, and the styles are very flattering for every woman. I also love the neckline on the Lustre, and the back is completely bare. These are very classy and elegant, but very sexy, too. That makes for a perfect swimsuit in my opinion. Pricing is in the high $100 to $200 range, so they arenâ€™t the most expensive suits on the market, but they are some of the most elegant.
