Ponta Brasil Swimwear

Ponta Brasil is a label working from Brazil — but working hard to become a global brand with a very aggressive wholesale reputation. Lingerie blog TLP just made a huge post about the label with some excellent info, and we suggest you go and take a look.

A quick excerpt from TLP’s post on Ponta Brasil Bikinis;

“Located in South Brazil, Ponta Brasil Ltd., a newer beachwear company founded in 2000, has now made its 2008 collection available. Exporting most of its production, the company presently wholesales to larger distributors in South, Central and North America, Europe and Asia. […] The total product line is swimwear, active wear, workout wear and general beachwear. And the 2008 collection is as sexy as one would expect from a Brazilian bikini company. “

Hula-La!, a pretty young swimwear label based in Kailua, Hawaii — the perfect location for a true hawaiian bikini company if you ask me.

“The swimwear is sexy, sweet, and oh-so flattering. From beautiful pastel solids with romantic detailing, to fun florals, to groovy dots, to mix-and-match pieces” — all according to the Hula-La! site.

Anyway, the swimwear speaks for itself. The photos below are great!

Swimwear designer Monika Hornbostel has been working hard ever since 2001 on the development of her Anika label from her new home in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil — using her experiences in the land of bikinis to create sexy and pretty swimwear… Brazilian cut pieces, skimpy bikinis and lots of colorful prints…

Anika bikinis have been featured in InStyle, Elle and Womenâ€™s Wear Daily — helping the brand to quickly grow a reputation… I looked up the Anika Brazil website but it doesn’t look too well up to date… Yet, there’s quite a lot of online shops selling the 2008 collection, so loads of pics are to be found…

As always, I picked my favorites!

Love Surf Love Bikinis for 2008

Today is not the first time we’re mentioning the second label designer Tom McNeel has under his wings. The Love Surf Love bikinis for 2008 however deserve all the attention they can get, so I’m not even going to feel bad for giving L*Space and Love Surf Love so much attention here on beachwear.cc!

Anyway, on the the swimwear! It’s PLAYFUL! Lots of color, lots of variety when it comes to the different styles and lots of prints and polka dots. I like their signature triangles best, but most designs look really sexy – to be honest.

Roberto Cavalli Swimwear 2008

Roberto Cavalli is one of those good-old overall fashion designers that takes care of his fans: fashion, lingerie — and swimwear! The 2008 pieces that just arrived at Nancy Meyer are excellent stuff (albeit not cheap), and show Roberto Cavalli is so much more than leopard-skin prints — it’s pure fashion — pure beauty.

I don’t have the budget to be spending over $300 on a bikini, but for those who do have the money to get these pretty pieces — don’t hesitate! I went tanning in a Roberto Cavalli bikini about a year ago — and felt awesome!

My favorite: the snake halter bandeau… It’s great in black, and available at NM for $413…

Le Doux 2008 Swimwear Collection

Our lingerie-loving friends over at The Lingerie Post have just posted a huge set of photos from the Le Doux 2008 swimwear collection — and obviously seeing as that’s right up our alley, we’re here to not only point you in the right direction, but also sho you the pics on beachwear.cc!

The collection builds on their 2007 concept — sexy, colorful and diverse styles based on a Brazilian feeling — made for the American woman (which means they used a little more fabric, haha).

Pictures look yummy — I’m sure it’ll be another hit collection, popular with the LA celebs too!

This line has everything from string bikinis to tankinis, and everything in between. I absolutely adore the patterns. They are so very unique, and the colors are beautiful. The pictures are from the new 2008 collection, and it looks to be a great one. I especially like the first picture, the pattern is fabulous! These suits are great, they are beautiful and very sexy. Take a look at the one-piece in the second picture. It really shows the uniqueness of the entire line. B Swimwear is one of my all-time favorites, mostly because they are all so unique that you donâ€™t worry about everyone else wearing the same suitJ

L*Space Swimwear

This is a great swimwear line! They offer bikinis, one-pieces, and the ever popular tri-kinis at L*Space, and all the suits are gorgeous. I love the first picture, itâ€™s the Americana bikini. Itâ€™s a great suit with a strappy look. Actually, a few of the suits have the side strappy look that I think is great. Very sexy! I also love the golden rings on the bottoms, itâ€™s a great look, and the rings on these suits are overlarge, which makes them look even hotter. L*Space is a great line, I canâ€™t believe that I havenâ€™t seen it sooner.

Blue Sky Swimwear

I really like this one. These suits are so gorgeous. The tie-side bikinis are great, and I really like the tankinis. The patterns are exclusive to Blue Sky, and they are very colorful. There are different styles of suits in each pattern. You can get boy shorts with a halter or a tankini with a tie-side bottom. Just whatever style you like, you can mix and match. Oh, and if I didnâ€™t mention it before, they are having a huge sale on their stock of 2007 suits, so that makes it even better.

Luli Fama Swimwear

This is a great swimwear line! I love these suits. I know, I always say that, but these are really great. The Luli Fama line has gorgeous bikinis. I love bikinis with the large rings on the sides of the bottoms and the center front. They look so sexy and classy, and the bikini in the first picture is one of those styles. Very classy, but very sexy at the same time, and the colors they use in the designs are fabulous. I found all these at Molly Brownâ€™s Swimwear. They have a lot of different swimwear brands, and the Luli Fama just happens to be one of the best.
