There is a reason Asha DeMarco’s swimwear designs are so popular. It is not just because she wowed Sports Illustrated readers for several years thanks to her Dr. No belted bikinis. It is because the designer has a finger on the pulse of swimwear trends, an eye for unique styling, a love of jewels and European fabrics which are hand printed. Today we’re focussing on a swimwear label that’s a little bit more on the classic end of the spectrum; Asha Couture Swimwear (also known as Asha DeMarco swimwear, after the designer). The label’s target audience is not the 16-year old cheerleader, but the sexy (and successful) 30-something woman that knows what she wants, and knows she looks great. The bikinis are sexy, but without ever turning ‘cheap’ in any way – the swimsuits are pure class, and the tunics are perfect for beach walks in any 5-star resort…
