2010 Swimwear Trends, Hot Fabric: 1

One trend that was huge in ’09 is definitely going to be coming back in 2010 is the off the shoulder trend. This is a trend that I absolutely love in every possible way. Not only does it make a woman look and feel beautiful – especially if they have beautiful shoulders but I can assure you that the one-shoulder trend is actually extremely sexy too.

This particular suit is also incorporating another trend and that is patterns. Not only are floral patterns going to be huge this season but also the damask pattern is going to be very, very popular – which is one of my favorite patterns.

The color of your swimsuit is very, very important. You always want to make sure that you find a beautiful color that is not only going to go well with your skin tone but you also want to make sure that it looks good on you. That does not just involve the cut of the swimsuit.

Some of the modern flares of colors for this season include some beautiful pinks, blacks, blues, greens and definitely yellow. Now – yellow is a very, very hard color to pull off and while this model certainly pulled it off beautifully, you might want to make sure that you try it on before you buy.

When you think about it – there are a ton of different swimwear trends out there. Not only do you have to consider the color trends, but also the style and I can tell you for sure that modern in the form of a bikini is one trend that is not going anywhere.

The cool thing about modern swimwear is that you can switch it up and change it up to make it your own – completely. The bottoms are usually reversible or have a modern twist in them and the tops are usually absolutely crazy.

Another thing that you need to think about is the color of the swimsuit – that is what we are going to talk about in the next blog.

Diane Von Furstenberg Swimwear, Vintage: 2

Now that you have seen a two-piece that is done up vintage style, let’s go ahead and talk about a one piece. I have to say that Diane Von Furstenberg really stole my heart with this particular piece and although the pattern is not something that I love … the overall feel and style of the suit is something that I have fallen deeply in love with.

The beauty of this suit is all in the cut of it and just how beautiful it makes the model look. The cleavage right up front is something that I would kill to have and I think that every woman would love halter top just like this.

Also – I love the fact that it sort of looks like a skirt at the bottom, which is absolutely beautiful.

Diva Cruise 2010 Swimwear: 2

Now that you have seen one of my favorite animal print suits, let’s go ahead and talk about black and white suits. Now, a few blogs back, we talked about black and white being one of the biggest trends in 2010 and I think that Diva has certainly captured this particular trend in the best possible way.

While I love the outline look of RYGY, I can tell you for sure that this is by far my favorite look for black and white. The floral look is very in right now and it is certainly one of the most modern looks on the market.

That is why Diva is the best – because they not only keep up with the trends but they produce some of the best swimwear out there.

Vitamin A 2010 Swimwear Designs: 3

The cover up is important but let’s switch gears and go back to the swimwear now. Vitamin A is known for their back swimsuits and this is a perfect example why. This cut-out swimsuit is actually one of the best looking pieces I have seen in quite a while. It is actually dubbed Onyx and with good reason!

The soft cups for the bust are removable and the neck and underbust ties are actually braided, which makes them that much chic and sleeker. The lines of this particular swimsuit are so clean and crisp – I love that!

The soft construction at the front waist make sure to accent all of the good parts and the contoured rings at the hips and neck are actually Italian matte gold, which makes this suit luxury and affordable!

Karla Colletto Swimwear: 3

Finally, we come to our last look for Karla Colletto – this particular look is actually my favorite only because it is a V-neck and it is actually awesome looking. The sexiness that reeks from this suit is incredible and I have fallen in love with the overall design.

The zipper is actually what catches my eye first. It makes for a very unique and different piece that I can promise that you will turn all sorts of heads with. The underwire support is actually beautiful and I have to say that the cleavage that you are going to get from the V-neck design is remarkable.

So remember, if you are looking for a suit that is unique and different, Karla Colletto is the designer for you!

Shan Swimwear Designs: 1

When you are looking for sexy and sleek swimsuit designs, who do you usually turn to? Well, for me, it is all about Shan and next year they are coming out with some designs that even I am proud of! No matter what size you are or what style you want, I can promise that Shan is going to be the best swimwear for you.

Take this suit for example – I think we might have featured it at some point on this blog but I think that it deserves another look. Not only does this particular suit just scream style and fashion, but it is a suit that I have actually fallen in love with.

In the next blog, we are going to go through another suit – and I can not tell you how excited I am!

Pin-Up Swimwear: It’s Hot!

It seems to me that one of the growing trends in this day and age in the way of swimwear has got to be the pin-up girl look. This pinup girl swimwear look was actually popular back in the 50’s but we are bringing it back and I think that is awesome! Now, I am absolutely obsessed with this particular trend, because I love pinup girls.

Most of the time, pinup girls are all in lingerie, but the swimwear portion of it is a little bit different, for you are taking something fresh and new, like a brand new swimsuit and making it vintage. That is what this trend is all about – how vintage you can go.

If you like pinup girls, I can promise that you are absolutely going to love this trend – and Betsey Johnson is heading it, which is something that I love!

Cover Ups — You Need Them On The Beach!

When you think about it, when you are on the beach – the first thing that you need is your swimsuit. The next thing that you need in your cover up – after all, when you are walking from the parking lot to the beach, you want to look hot and not catch too much sun right? Well, floaty and maxi cover ups are the ones that are going to be the latest trend for 2010.

The great thing about these particular kind of cover ups is the fact that you can leave the beach and head on out to dinner without having to change. These actually look like sun dresses and they look absolutely incredible on any body shape – which is something that is very hard to do.
