Although floral is beautiful, I have to say that simple is also a trend that is going to be hot in 2010. The next swimwear trend is another trend that puts the shoulders right on display. It is the Bandeau bikini trend. This is a trend that is going to be by far the most popular in 2010 and it is actually an alternative to the one shoulder look. Bandeau bikini tops offer up a shoulder-baring alternative and if you have great shoulders, you know you are going to want one of these.

Basically, what a Bandeau bikini top is, is little more than a stretchy band of fabric that goes over your top. Now, usually, these types of tops include an underwire, if only because they are meant to lift and give you more cleavage, which is great on the beach!

Now that we have talked about Ed Hardy, let’s move over to another swimwear trend that is going to be extremely popular for 2010. Graphic prints. While I know that graphic prints are very, very nineties in my head, however, I think that this is actually a trend that I could get into. 2010 is the year that people are going to be running around in these types of prints, whether it is a bikini, a one-piece swimsuit or even a cover up.

For those of you that prefer dark colors, this is an opportunity for you to break out of your mold and to get into something that is beautiful, bright and something that you will love! While dark colors are okay for at work, if you are at the beach, just take it to the extreme!

Graphic prints are so beautiful and you can really design your own – because you will be able to pick out a top and bottom that are both graphic prints. So pull out those bright colors next year!

Bandage Swimwear Is In!

Now that we have talked about some of the trends in swimwear, let’s go ahead and touch on one more – bandage swimwear. This is way different than bondage strap swimwear. This is swimwear that is actually bandages of fabric that are forced together to make a kickass swimsuit. While I never thought I would say this, I think that bandage swimwear actually looks chic.

The one thing that I love about bandage swimwear is the fact that it actually looks different. There is no other swimwear like it and that is what people forget. A lot of swimwear looks the same out there and while you can change up the pattern and the fabric, the shape is usually the same.

Not with this particular swimwear though! Bandage swimwear is different, completely hot and looks awesome and stylish!

Ed Hardy Is Getting Colorful This Season!

It seems that Ed Hardy swimwear is popping up everywhere and we are no different – at all. However, Ed Hardy is actually creating a trend with his swimwear and that is the colorful swimwear. Next year is going to be full of colors and that is something that I am definitely looking forward to. It seems that this little piece is just one of the many pieces that were shown earlier this year in a colorful fit!

Ed Hardy to me is swimwear that has a streak of rebellious nature. It is something that is completely different, totally off the wall and something that is so beautiful and full of life and color that I really hope that it never goes away.

There are a ton of different neon colors and some beautiful prints in any Ed Hardy collection and I think that you should really take a look at them!

Swimwear Trends: Sheer Fabric! 2

Now that we have dipped a little bit into the sheer trend, let’s go ahead and take a trip over to Crystal Jin. This is a brand that I think is doing something different – very different actually. They haven’t made sheer panels exactly, but instead, they have done a completely plain top and the bottom is somewhat sheer and that is something that I love!

Crystal Jin is a brand that is pretty brand new and it is a brand that you don’t hear that much about, however in this blog – we cover everything that is new and fresh and that is exactly what Crystal Jin is all about! This little number is something that I don’t think that I have ever seen before and to me … that is hard to do.

So if you want different and sheer and trendy, Crystal Jin is the brand for you – it will certainly surprise you!

Swimwear Trends: Cut-Away Swimsuits!

In 2009, we were faced with an explosion of cut-away swimsuits … every single designer was coming out with them! Well, it is going to be exactly the same for 2010. There are going to be all sorts of different cutaway swimsuits out there and honestly, I think that they are hot … I think that these one-piece suits are something so beautiful and awesome that they will totally get you noticed on the beach.

These two swimsuits for example, one by Victoria’s Secret and the next by Gottex are some hot swimsuits and while they might be part of the 2009 collection, I am sure that these two brands are going to come out with something hot for 2010 but I just haven’t seen it … just yet.

So remember, if you own a swimsuit that is cutaway – keep it, you can probably still look hot and stylish for 2010!

Swimwear Trends: Fringe 2

Swimwear is something that is constantly going to be changing and that is exactly what these trends are all about – what the changing is doing. Take this trend – Curvs has taken it to the next level this swimsuit, for it is covered in fringe! Fringe is so underappreciated and to me, it is something that actually looks fantastic on swimwear!

So Curvs, I give my hats off to you for creating such a beautiful swimsuit! Not only is the fringe on the bottom, but on the top as well and to me, that is cool! This is a swimsuit that you would wear if you wanted to stand out on the beach and that is exactly what your swimsuit should do for you!

Now I know that you are probably all sick of hearing about Mara Hoffman, but this is a designer that I am so impressed with, I thought that I would feature her in another blog based on another swimwear trend that seems to be going around! Fringe – while ruffles might be cool, to me … fringe is something that is so beautiful and not used enough.

That is until Mara Hoffman gets her hands on some fabric and comes up with one kick-ass swimsuit that captures the essence of fringe. This is a swimsuit that is so chic and stylish; I think I want to wear it right now! The fact that it is black is awesome and I love the large fishnet that she as done and then the fringe at the bottom.

Pair this with some heels and skip yourself out onto the beach because I can promise that you are going to get noticed in a swimsuit like this one!
