2010 Swimwear Trends, Hot Fabric: 1

One trend that was huge in ’09 is definitely going to be coming back in 2010 is the off the shoulder trend. This is a trend that I absolutely love in every possible way. Not only does it make a woman look and feel beautiful – especially if they have beautiful shoulders but I can assure you that the one-shoulder trend is actually extremely sexy too.

This particular suit is also incorporating another trend and that is patterns. Not only are floral patterns going to be huge this season but also the damask pattern is going to be very, very popular – which is one of my favorite patterns.

The color of your swimsuit is very, very important. You always want to make sure that you find a beautiful color that is not only going to go well with your skin tone but you also want to make sure that it looks good on you. That does not just involve the cut of the swimsuit.

Some of the modern flares of colors for this season include some beautiful pinks, blacks, blues, greens and definitely yellow. Now – yellow is a very, very hard color to pull off and while this model certainly pulled it off beautifully, you might want to make sure that you try it on before you buy.

When you think about it – there are a ton of different swimwear trends out there. Not only do you have to consider the color trends, but also the style and I can tell you for sure that modern in the form of a bikini is one trend that is not going anywhere.

The cool thing about modern swimwear is that you can switch it up and change it up to make it your own – completely. The bottoms are usually reversible or have a modern twist in them and the tops are usually absolutely crazy.

Another thing that you need to think about is the color of the swimsuit – that is what we are going to talk about in the next blog.

Diane Von Furstenberg Swimwear, Vintage: 1

One trend that I am constantly seeing pop up on the runway for swimwear, I can tell you for sure that vintage is very much in right now. The high-waists, the beautiful halters and the very vintage prints are all in for swimwear this season and Diane Von Furstenberg is really cranking out some of the best looking pieces.

This is just one piece out of her latest swimwear collection for 2010 and I can tell you that the beautiful bloomers paired with the top as well as the bow is something that I have fallen deeply in love with!

Vitamin A 2010 Swimwear Designs: 3

The cover up is important but let’s switch gears and go back to the swimwear now. Vitamin A is known for their back swimsuits and this is a perfect example why. This cut-out swimsuit is actually one of the best looking pieces I have seen in quite a while. It is actually dubbed Onyx and with good reason!

The soft cups for the bust are removable and the neck and underbust ties are actually braided, which makes them that much chic and sleeker. The lines of this particular swimsuit are so clean and crisp – I love that!

The soft construction at the front waist make sure to accent all of the good parts and the contoured rings at the hips and neck are actually Italian matte gold, which makes this suit luxury and affordable!

While swimwear is important and swimsuits themselves are the key ingredient at the beach, I have to say that finding the right cover up for you is also a key element in feeling comfortable at the beach. Well, Vitamin A has you covered there too because they have come up with some of the best cover ups in the world!

Now, this particular cover up is actually diamond crochet, which to me is fantastic. I love crochet things and you honestly do not see enough of them in this day and age. This cover up dress is strapless and it is actually an easy switch from day to night.

The gathering right around the best is fantastic for cleavage and if you do not have a perfect body shape, the empire waist is fantastic!

While Karla is a name that I know very well, Vitamin A is a label that has been popping up since 2000 and they have not quit coming out with some of the best swimsuits in the world. Not only does Vitamin A come up with some perfectly cut little black bikini’s, but I have to say that dipping into colors for this brand was the best idea in the world.

Vitamin A as a brand is actually dubbed ‘laid back luxury’ swimwear and I love that term. They are basically luxury swimsuits that have a very laid-back feeling, which is perfect for anyone that is looking for a swimsuit just to throw on and head to the beach.

Karla Colletto Swimwear: 3

Finally, we come to our last look for Karla Colletto – this particular look is actually my favorite only because it is a V-neck and it is actually awesome looking. The sexiness that reeks from this suit is incredible and I have fallen in love with the overall design.

The zipper is actually what catches my eye first. It makes for a very unique and different piece that I can promise that you will turn all sorts of heads with. The underwire support is actually beautiful and I have to say that the cleavage that you are going to get from the V-neck design is remarkable.

So remember, if you are looking for a suit that is unique and different, Karla Colletto is the designer for you!

Now that we have touched on one suit from Karla Colletto – let’s go ahead and dive right into the next one. This one is actually brighter and great looking on any figure. If you are a person that does not want to show too much skin, especially in the stomach area, this is actually a great suit for you, because it is still sexy without being over the top.

The cool thing about this suit is that there is an underwire so that you do have the extra support and you see that little gathering under the bust? Well, that was designed for more support and actually acts are a halter almost, so it makes sure you have some cleavage.

I have to tell you that Karla Colletto really does know exactly what she is doing when she comes up with these designs because they are fantastic!

Nicole Olivier Designs 2010: 2

Now that we have talked about the sheer and the sexy, let’s dive over to something that is a little different and a little brighter. This particular swimsuit is actually pretty cool in my mind – not only is it bright and cheerful, but it is actually one swimsuit that has embroidery on it – which is not only a brand new trend, but it is rare to find on a swimsuit.

Nicole Olivier is the designer, yet again and I have to tell you that with this particular swimsuit, she has surprised me. Not just by the brilliant color scheme, but this is a chick that has surprised by the sheer talent that she is exhibiting here.

If you want fashion forward and breathtakingly beautiful, Nicole Olivier is the designer you are looking for!
