There are a number of reasons why looking for full figured and/or plus sized swimsuits. For one thing, is it just me, or does it seem like the overwhelming, distressing majority of swimwear designers out there are sadists? It is like they are sending out a message that not only do the girls on the runway have to be a size two, but so do any of the women who wear their pieces. Now, I know that there are some fantastic exceptions out there, but sometimes, it seems otherwise. And sometimes, those great, open minded, diverse designers are not accessible to all women, which means that they are left thinking that the frumpy plus size suits in the big, bland department stores are all they have.
It is hard enough to want to expose yourself this much in public, to go out and be seen in a suit that covers little. If you are curvy, if you are carrying around some extra pounds, if you are overweight, you want to go out feeling confident and beautiful. Because it can be hard to find swimwear that offers those feelings, we are going to give you the armor and the tips you need.
