Would you believe that a journey to beautiful Brazil was the catalyst which inevitably paved the way for Birdie Jo Swimwear? It also changed life as they knew it for two cousins hailing from Hollywood — Kate Richter and Rebecca Fink were naturally unaware of it when it happened, but this trip to South America was the ultimate inspiration for a brand new swimwear line.
These two ladies also had a problem finding swimwear separates that were fashionable, sexy, and flattering — until they went to Brazil. There, they found a whole world of sensual pieces and they were termed to bring that world back to the United States with them.
Both women have a natural love for design, and a true talent for it. Both had studied some type of design before, and brought their knowledge to Birdie Jo.
