The Aguaclara 2009 line of suits is considered one of the hottest things to ever come out of Peru. The name is Spanish for “clear water,” and the inspiration in the designs prove that. Head designer Liliana Villalobos is inspired by the ocean, the Amazon, and the Andes, and you can really see that in her aesthetic.
Take, for example, the Santorini Bikini. The top — the Knotted Missy Halter — offers phenomenal support, there are golden rings accenting the neck, and there is a closure at the back of the suit as well at ties at the neck. The Side Tie Bottom allows for adjustable coverage thanks to the sliders.
I particularly love the color of this suit; it is a shade not seen often enough, but as you can see, it looks absolutely gorgeous with a tan, plus its tropical and fresh without being too bright or gaudy.
