Okay, I will be honest with you — this is another swimsuit about which I am up in the air. I really cannot decide whether I like it or not. Basically, there are aspects which I like … and aspects which I do not like at all.
First of all, this is from the Maryan Mehlhorn 2010 collection of suits and it is part of a series of several styles known as Oriental Club. The suits therein have different styles and silhouettes but the same pattern.
The silhouettes, I have no problem with, especially with this one. I think the design and the shape are both great. It flatters the bust line, it flatters the waist, it flatters the hips, and it appears to look very slimming as well.
But the palette, the pattern … that is where I get tied up. It is just kind of … well, it is like retro’s worst nightmare, but still boring in the process.
