Fun in the Surf and Sand with Lenny 2009

Maybe this maillot one piece swimsuit looks more like serpentine snakeskin than Sand, but you really can’t fault it for that.

The Sand Maillot from Lenny 2009 is just too hot for words. There is something uniquely elegant about the high neck. It is evocative of a bygone time, but it is not at all dated, perhaps because of the sequins on it, all of which are hand embroidered.

This is no surprise, coming from Lenny Niemeyer, who appeared on the scene in 1990, down in Rio. You can tell she loves the beach, especially the beaches in Brazil. There is something both fun and timeless about her creations.
