So, staying on the retro train, can you say cute? Can you say utterly, absolutely, unbelievably adorable? This has got to be one of the cutest little bikinis I have seen in ages. It’s not even just that the suit is precious, I would actually frame this picture, it’s the perfect way to highlight the bathing suit to perfection. As are the shows, man, I even want to buy the shoes.
Unlike a lot of swimwear lines this season, Agent Provocateur does not feel the need to rely solely on bright, bold colors to be edgy. Not that there is anything wrong with bright shades, of course, but it is nice to see a classic color palette like black, red, and white, given an updated style.
The Bassma swimsuit from Agent Provocateur is a modern take on an old style. It is retro without being aged or cliche — and I’m sorry, but when did you see gingham done so beautifully? A pattern like that has the potential to look a little too dated, but in this case, it’s just … it’s perfect.
