Paint-on Bikinis

Years ago, I watched a television program on Hugh Hefner and the parties at the Playboy Mansion. Many of the women at one party were wearing nothing but painted-on lingerie. The look was dazzling and more than realistic. In fact, until the narrator made mention of the art, I thought that the girls were wearing garments made of fabric and not paint. After I finished watching the program, I never seemed to see anything about the art again. I guess most women felt it was better left to Playboy Bunnies.

Then recently, I saw the cover of the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. These swimsuit artists, (Joanne Gair, Reyna Picot and Isaac Prado) are geniuses in their genre. Models such as Jessica Gomes, Quiana Grant, Marisa Miller and Tori Praver were magnificently attired in meticulous and colourful painted bikinis and full piece bathing suits. No need to worry about the sizing as each model received a custom fit during her thirteen to fourteen hours of preparation. The actual planning of the designs took three months.

Beautiful as they were, both the designs and the models, my evil twin, the mischievous side of me wonders what might have happened if they had entered the water.
